My ideas come to me from things Iʼve seen in the past and on occasion, they just come from seemingly nowhere.  If I force an idea, it will never come to life and remain  as rough sketches in my many sketchbooks. I have to feel the excitement of doing something that I feel is fresh and current.

The painstaking technique I use has been an evolving process from studying the work of the Old Masters and from trial and error over many years of practice.  Iʼm obsessed with the creation of my paintings and the mirror like surfaces I can  achieve.
