Dreaming

Observaciones:

The painting „Dreaming" is so special for me because it shows my daughter Mila - Marie and her friend Sophia, who are great models for me. The painting should present and radiate a certain stillness and dreamlike state, which can make the viewer feel calm and drawn in. It is like watching the ocean and the calm waters, that represent tranquility. The immense size of the painting should add to the overwhelming feeling when you are standing in front of it. Another aspect that makes this painting unusual is the unique perspective, in which I painted the two figures. In this painting, I enjoyed using gold leaf (24 ct) to give the painting a certain almost magical touch. I see it as adding little sparks of light that reflect differently in various lighting scenarios to make the artwork change with its environment.
