My art revolves around the figurative representation of the human body. I am attracted not only by the carnal, with the greens and pinks of the flesh, but as well with the psychological and spiritual part of it all.  For me, it’s not so much she or he, but Adam and Eve, which globalize the whole concept of male and female. The seed of  life lies in nature so I portray my characters in  timeless scenery that alludes to  a possible Eden garden. Even when I don’t add the human figure in the composition, I try to show his marks (presence) in nature. For this I take use of symbolic fruits, totemic animals or ritual practices as a guidance marker, as to be reminded of the spiritual that is in ourselves.
