I was born and raised in Warsaw, Poland; where I graduated from an art profile high school and then I studied in the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. I did my diploma project under the direction of Professor Adam Myjak and my diploma supplement under the direction of Professor Hanna Jelonek. I also studied sculpture via the Erasmus student exchange program at Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma, in Professors Donato Bianco’s and Oriana Impei’s Studio of Sculpture. After graduation, I remained at my alma mater, and I am working as an assistant professor in Professor Hanna Jelonek’s Studio of Medal-Making. I obtained my Doctor of Arts degree in sculpture in 2022, also in 2022 I started teaching sculpture at Siedlce University of Natural Sciences and Humanities.
I am fascinated by nature, which is an infinite source of inspiration for me, it's a bit like a bottomless well… In nature, I admire the organicity of its shapes and structures. Wavy sand by the seashore or mountain peaks on the horizon or even the texture of the bark trees give me creative energy. The light immerses in them, creating a play of chiaroscuro. I am trying to obtain the same, or rather similar, organic structure in my medallic and sculptural art forms. I am also fascinated by strings and ropes and other textiles, which are becoming my signature and favourite medium to work in.
I have participated in many medal and sculpture exhibitions in Poland and internationally, also I am a member of The International Art Medal Federation (FIDEM). For my work, I was awarded both national and international scholarships and have awards.
